Ashlynn Guarneri, MSN, AGACNP-BC, has been appointed to the medical staff of Geneva General Hospital in Geneva, New York, as part of the hospitalist department.
Guarneri’s academic achievements include a Master of Science degree in Nursing from St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from SUNY Brockport College. Starting her career at Finger Lakes Health as a Housekeeper, she progressed to patient care roles, working as a Registered Nurse on the medical/surgical unit and in the Intensive Care Unit at Geneva General Hospital. She has also served as a clinical adjunct professor at Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing & Health Sciences.

In recognition of her significant contributions to patient care, Guarneri was honored with “The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses®,” an accolade celebrating nurses who make profound impacts on the lives of their patients and families. Her journey from housekeeper to a vital member of the medical staff exemplifies a commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to healthcare. Guarneri lives in the Finger Lakes with her family, including three Rottweilers, enjoying quality family time when away from her medical duties.
