Residents of Auburn will have the opportunity to express their views this week on proposed modifications to the Housing Standards chapter of the city code.
City Clerk Chuck Mason told Finger Lakes News Radio that these changes are designed to enhance the enforcement powers of the city’s nuisance abatement committee.
The public hearing is scheduled for Thursday during the routine City Council meeting at 5:00 PM at City Hall.
Mason added that provisions within city code will empower the abatement committee, which has been active for several years, to more effectively address nuisances within the city.
