The Village of Montour Falls, having been granted a $4.5 million through the New York State NY Forward Program earlier this year, is moving forward with its proposal phase.
The Local Planning Committee, co-chaired by Mayor James Ryan and Judy McKinney Cherry, Executive Director of the Schuyler County Partnership for Economic Development, began this phase on May 23 and are now publicly inviting project proposals.
In a bid to facilitate community involvement, a virtual informational session is set to take place on Monday at 6:00 p.m., offering building owners, community members, and the public an opportunity to understand the process of submitting a project proposal.
These proposals are integral to the final Strategic Investment Plan to be sent to the state later this year. All applications for the open call are due by June 30 at 4:00 p.m. To register for the session and to download the project application, individuals are encouraged to visit MontourFallsNYF.com.
