An incident in Waterloo on Tuesday could have been much worse if not for the quick work of first responders.
Sirens rang out throughout the village around 3:45 p.m. as crews from several districts responded to Carlton Road for a structure fire.
The Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire reports that Waterloo, Border City, Fayette, and Seneca Falls fire departments were dispatched to Carlton Road for a structure fire.
Thanks to the quick work of firefighters on-scene the fire was put out in under 15 minutes.
North Seneca Ambulance was also called to the scene.
