The New York Yankees reinstated outfielder Aaron Judge from the injured list ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Oakland Athletics.
Infielder Oswald Peraza was placed on the injured list (retroactive to May 6) with a right ankle sprain to make room on the roster.
Judge missed almost two weeks with a right hip strain he sustained in a game against the Minnesota Twins.
The captain will bat second and play right field in his first game back in the lineup.
