First responders were called to a reported microwave explosion in the town of Ira on Thursday.
The Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire reported the incident during the late-afternoon hours.
Firefighters from several departments- including Victory, Cato, Plainville, Jordan, Weedsport, and Baldwinsville were called to the scene.
Shortly after the call came in first responders arrived on-scene and informed other mutual aid requests that they could stand down.
It’s unclear how much damage the microwave caused in the home on Route 176.
