Police provided an update on a serious accident that happened in Seneca Falls on March 31.
According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, first responders were called to 62 Cayuga Street around 1:40 p.m. for a personal injury accident.
It was determined that Rolland Bentley, 82, made a left turn from Prospect Street onto Cayuga Street and into the path of a vehicle operated by 21-year-old Jenna McKay.
McKay’s vehicle struck Bentley’s, which then veered off the road and collided with a utility pole.
McKay was checked over by EMS and refused further treatment. Police said Bentley was transported to Geneva General Hospital for treatment of chest pain.
He was issued tickets for failure to yield the right of way.
The Seneca Falls Police Department was assisted on scene by the Seneca Falls Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and the Seneca Falls Water Department.
