Rose man faces five felony charges, plus six misdemeanors after string of incidents in 2021, 2022

Deputies arrested a town of Rose resident on several warrants around midnight on Sunday.

Isreal Lormil, 29, was taken into custody by police in Seneca County, then transported to New York State Police in Lyons, where he was taken into custody on additional charges. Then he was transported to the Wayne County Jail where he was arrested on additional charges.


The charges Lormil faces include two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and three counts of aggravated family offense, all felonies, as well as harassment, trespass, unlawful imprisonment, assault, criminal mischief, and criminal obstruction of breathing, which are misdemeanors.

Deputies said in a news release that all of the charges stem from multiple cases with Lormil in 2021 and 2022.

He was arraigned and will answer all of the charges at a later date.
