The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a crash on Warner Road in the town of Marion.
According to deputies, a 13-year-old was struck by a vehicle on March 15 around 2 p.m.
The vehicle was headed west on Warner Road when the teen crossed the road. They were struck by the oncoming vehicle and transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies added that the teen is expected to make a full recovery.
The Wane County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Marion Fire Department, Western Wayne Ambulance, and Ontario Ambulance.
No identifying information was released about the driver or teen.
