The Steuben County Public Works Commissioner has announced that the Five Corners Road bridge in the Town of Jasper will be closed for a period of 10 weeks, beginning on March 13th.
The bridge spans a tributary to Tuscarora Creek, between House Road and Baucher Road.
According to the county, the bridge will be entirely replaced with a new one. The removal of the existing bridge and the construction of the new one necessitate the temporary closure of the bridge.
The closure will cause disruptions to traffic in the area, and motorists are advised to find alternate routes during the 10-week period.
