Police say a Newark woman was arrested after a stolen vehicle investigation that began last summer.
In July 2022 rented a vehicle from a local business and failed to return it at the agreed upon time.
The vehicle was recovered in October 2022, according to police, who said Caitlin Hughey, age 36, of Newark, was the person who rented it.
She wasn’t taken into custody by police until Thursday, February 23rd.
Hughey was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The misdemeanor charge will be answered at a later date in local court.
