The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office investigated a rollover accident involving a salt truck on I-590 early Thursday morning.
The accident occurred south of the Blossom Road exit on 590 South. According to county officials, the salt truck was privately owned.
Although minor injuries were sustained due to the accident, the investigation will continue, as stated by the MCSO.
During the investigation, drivers on 590 South were limited to one lane, but all lanes reopened once the investigation concluded. No further information was provided on the cause of the accident or the extent of the injuries sustained.
