The boil water order for the town of Genoa remains active.
Officials said Friday a water main break caused a portion of the water system to lose pressure.
Due to the pressure loss there was an increased chance of untreated water or harmful microbes entering the system.
In theory, those could reach household faucets.
Residents will be told when the order is lifted.
