The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester man following a string of larcenies throughout Ontario County.
According to a news release, Daniel Steffen, 29, of Rochester was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny after an arrest warrant was issued.
He was taken into custody without incident.
According to investigators, the thefts from vehicles occurred in Gorham, Seneca, and Phelps.
Credit cards, debit cards, ID cards, tools, musical equipment, and firearms were stolen.
Deputies did not indicate in a press release how many others may be involved in the string of thefts.
