Former Syracuse Mayoral candidate Alfonso Davis is facing charges for bringing a loaded gun into the Rochester Airport.
Earlier this week we told you about the rising number of incidents where TSA security personnel had confiscated a higher-than-average number of firearms at Upstate New York airports.
Now, Davis has been indicted on charges related to bringing a loaded firearm to the airport in Rochester.
Prosecutors say Davis has been charged with criminal possession of a firearm in a sensitive location and criminal possession of a weapon.
TSA reps say Davis told them he forgot the weapon was with him.
