Corning Inc. is planning to make some cuts.
The company says the cuts are part of adjustments being made due to the macroeconomic environment.
Corning Inc. says the total workforce reduction would be less than 2.5%.
Across it’s global workforce that number is significantly smaller. Altgoether that will mean 1,500 jobs or less.
Corning told WETM-TV said the company remains committed to treating impact employees with dignity and respect.
