Another local Bed Bath and Beyond store will be shutting its doors this year as the company struggles to regain its financial footing.
The Ithaca location on Fairgrounds Memorial Parkway was named as a location that would be shut down by August.
The company says it’s going ‘back to basics’ and will focus on growing after downsizing at the expense of around 150 current locations.
The total cost saved will be between $80 and $100 million.
In the last two years several Bed Bath and Beyond locations have closed, including one in Canandaigua.
