The Geneva City School District says second grade is on the move.
Those classrooms will be moved back to the West Street School next year.
The move comes after district officials weighed options as it dealt with space limitations.
The decision was made with public input. An online survey involving the matter received 232 responses.
District officials said after approval at a recent board meeting that since the plan would have little impact on transportation and food service- reconfiguration made the most sense.
Second grade was at West Street until 2018. So this move represents the second of its kind in a half dozen years.
