Police say a Wayne County man was arrested after making threats from the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

On January 2nd Braydon M. Edwards, age 31, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Family Offense and Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, both Class E Felonies.

The arrest followed allegations that Edwards had subjected a victim to verbal threats and intimidation through phone calls and text messages, in violation of anorder of protection prohibiting such conduct.

It is also alleged that Edwards committed these crimes while an inmate in the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

Edwards was arraigned in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Court and was remanded back to the Correctional Facility.
