Seneca jail inmate faces felony charges after threatening, intimidating victim while in custody

Police say a Wayne County man was arrested after making threats from the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

On January 2nd Braydon M. Edwards, age 31, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Family Offense and Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, both Class E Felonies.


The arrest followed allegations that Edwards had subjected a victim to verbal threats and intimidation through phone calls and text messages, in violation of anorder of protection prohibiting such conduct.

It is also alleged that Edwards committed these crimes while an inmate in the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

Edwards was arraigned in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Court and was remanded back to the Correctional Facility.

He is scheduled to reappear in Romulus Town Court at a later date, and a new order of protection has been issued prohibiting him from having any contact with the victim.
