Deputies say one person died after a crash on State route 64 in the town of Bristol on Thursday.
Around 2:45 p.m. deputies responded with the Bristol Fire Department and Canandaigua Ambulance to a portion of Route 64 south of the Route 20A intersection for a one-car crash.
According to a news release, Christopher Green, age 54, of Canandaigua was traveling south in a pickup truck when it crossed the center line and came to rest in the ditch on the other side of the road.
Green was pronounced dead at the scene, according to deputies, who said the road remained closed for approximately two-and-a-half hours.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
