The NHL announced Wednesday that Friday’s game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center has been postponed due to a severe winter storm expected to hit the area.
The game will be made up on Saturday, March 4 at 12:30 p.m. The Sabres’ original home game for March 4 against the Philadelphia Flyers has been moved to January 9, with puck drop set for 7 p.m.
Buffalo will not play again until Tuesday, December 27, when they head to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets at 7:30 p.m.
The Sabres are currently riding a four-game win streak and are 16-14-2 on the season.
