The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team had its five-game win streak snapped with an 84-82 loss to Pittsburgh on Tuesday night at the JMA Wireless Dome. Syracuse dropped to 8-5 on the season, while Pittsburgh moved to 9-4.
The Orange trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half but cut it to two with six seconds left in regulation before Judah Mintz missed what would have been a game-tying two-pointer at the buzzer.
Mintz scored a team-high 24 points, while Joe Girard netted 16 and Quadir Copeland added 10.
