Syracuse guard Judah Mintz was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Mintz helped Syracuse go 2-0 last week while averaging 13.0 points, 7.5 assists, and 3.0 steals.
The freshman scored 10 points and notched five assists in the Orange’s 95-66 victory over Oakland. Mintz recorded his first career double-double against Georgetown, scoring 16 points and collecting 10 assists.
It was the first time an Orange player was honored by the conference for its weekly awards this season.
