The village of Watkins Glen could see several new faces hold elected office next year.
The Village will hold elections on March 21st, 2023. While that might seem like a long ways off – locals are already preparing.
A four-year term of mayor, and two trustee seats will all be up for grabs.
The mayor’s seat was vacated after Luke Lesyk resigned over the summer. He cited distractions from false accusations in the community.
A village justice seat is also up for election.
It’s unclear how many incumbents will run new terms.
