As inflation continues to impact grocery shopping, nothing is safe from the price hikes, including Wegmans Rotisserie Chicken.
The pre-cooked chickens, normally sold hot and ready to eat, have seen a price hike of $3.
Understandably, people are upset over the price increase, which seems as if it came out of nowhere.
When looking online, the Wegmans website shows that all flavors are currently $9.99. That includes Wegmans Roasted Chicken Plain, Rosemary, and BBQ flavors.
While it’s not possible to look at the prices online before they changed, Google offers the option to view an older version of a website.
By choosing to view the website this way, it shows the text from the website dated for Nov. 7, 2022, and 1:06 GMT.
While viewing it this way on that date, it shows the Wegmans Rotisserie Chicken, Plain flavored for only $6.99.
