Sabres drop fourth straight with loss to Golden Knights

The Buffalo Sabres dropped their fourth straight game, falling 7-4 to the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday night at KeyBank Center. With the loss, Buffalo sits at 7-7-0 on the season.

Jack Eichel had a big night against his former team as he collected four points, including a hat trick to propel Vegas to victory.


Tage Thompson scored twice to lead the Sabres. Casey Mittelstadt and Rasmus Asplund also found the back of the net, while Dylan Cozens tallied two assists. Eric Comrie turned aside 29-of-35 shots.

Buffalo went 2-for-3 on the power play and 1-for-2 on the penalty kill.

The Sabres will try to snap their skid on Saturday when they host the Boston Bruins at 7 p.m.
