As the days get shorter and it is dark at the beginning and the end of each work day, our team recognizes some site-specific autumn weather behaviors such as simply slowing down be it on foot or driving.
There are many dawn and dusk safety tips that are constant no matter at work, home or play:
- Use high-visibility clothing when near moving vehicles.
- Provide ample time for eyesight to adjust to light conditions.
- Avoid drowsy driving.
- Use headlights.
- Be alert for pedestrians.
- Watch out for animals.
November is the most dangerous month for deer collisions. Take it slow. Speed kills and we all want to get home safe.
