The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Waterloo residents on felony charges after a drug investigation.
Edward Cottman, 48, and Ronald Hawker, 68, both of Waterloo were taken into custody on October 24th by members of the narcotics unit.
Cottman was charged with one count of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. Hawker was charged with conspiracy and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
It’s alleged that Cottman sold crack cocaine to Hawker while in the Town of Waterloo. Deputies said Cottman was also found to be in possession of 30 grams of cocaine and approximately $11,000 in U.S. currency.
Both have been arraigned, but deputies say the investigation remains active. They also indicated additional arrests are coming.
Investigators with the sheriff’s office were assisted by the Geneva Police Department, Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Canandaigua Police Department, and New York State Police.
