Police say a 24-year-old Montour Falls man faces serious charges after he violated a court order.
Jacob Thornton, 24, was charged with criminal contempt and a felony count of aggravated family offense after violating an active court order.
The order protected a person from having contact with Thornton. According to police, he showed up at their place of employment.
He turned himself into police and will answer the charges at a later date.
