State police arrested a 33-year-old following a suspicious vehicle investigation.
On Monday state troopers observed a suspicious vehicle on Venice Road in Genoa.
The driver, Derek Beckwith, 33, of Little York was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of weapon.
He was taken into custody without incident and will answer the charges at a later date.
