No bail for Waterloo woman facing grand larceny charge due to previous felony convictions

Investigators say a Waterloo woman was held on no bail after being taken into custody following a theft investigation.

Jessica Maines, 40, of Waterloo was charged with grand larceny after allegedly stealing a wallet and using the credit cards inside it.

The theft occurred at an address on Route 14 in Phelps, according to investigators.

The illegal transactions took place at numerous locations, which resulted in the grand larceny charge.

Due to previous felony convictions, Maines was held on no bail. She’s scheduled to appear at a later date in local court.
