Man accused of creating fake reservations online, resulting in $13,000 loss at Tug Yard Vineyards

A Lowville man was arrested on identity theft charges on September 16.

New York State Police arrested David R. Nisley Jr., 33, of Lowville for identity theft.

Nisley is accused of making false reservations online under anonymous aliases on Mother’s Day 2022. This resulted in an approximate $13,000 financial loss for Tug Yard Vineyards. Nisley’s friend was a former employee at Tug Hill and admitted to making the fake reservations because he was upset with their former employer.

Nisley was arraigned and released.
