The New York Yankees have really struggled in August and that continued on Monday night in Anaheim as they fell to the Los Angeles Angels, 4-3.
Aaron Judge crushed his Major League-leading 50th home run of the season and Anthony Rizzo launched his 29th homer of the season to lead the offense. DJ LeMahieu also added an RBI with a safety squeeze.
Frankie Montas made his fifth start with the Yankees and surrendered four runs on eight hits over six innings while striking out six.
Clay Holmes, who was reinstated from the injured list before the game, tossed a scoreless inning. Lucas Luetge fired a scoreless frame as well.
Jameson Taillon will get the ball on Tuesday as the Yankees will try to snap their three-game skid. The first pitch is set for 9:38 p.m.
