The Waterloo Library & Historical Society will be hosting the 2022 ‘Cookie Fun Run/Walk – Year of the Donut’ on September 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Lafayette Park located on Main Street in Waterloo.
This family friendly race, originally inspired by Laura Numeroff’s “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie”, will tickle your taste buds and benefit the Waterloo Library & Historical Society. There will be 4 donuts in total so bring your appetite and running shoes to race 1 mile around Lafayette Park.
If running is not your style you can also walk the mile and still enjoy the donuts and read along with this year’s book “If You Give a Dog a Donut”
Participants will receive a donut themed medal and registrations under 5 will receive their own copy of this year’s book.
Registration is now open online HERE. Pre-registration is encouraged. Limited registrations will be available the day of the event.
Entry fees for the walk/run are as follows:
– Adults: $20
– 18 and under: $10
– Children under 5: Free
