Rochester woman fails to appear in court after larceny charge

A Rochester woman was taken into custody on an arrest warrant late Thursday morning.

According to a news release, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dezirae J. Martin, 21, of Rochester for failure to appear in court.

The warrant stems from a larceny and conspiracy charge after an investigation at a Junius business in May. Martin turned herself in to the sheriff’s office after missing her previous court date.

Martin was remanded to Seneca County Jail and is pending arraignment.
