The Syracuse Mets fell to the Buffalo Bisons at NBT Bank Stadium for the second straight night, this time by a score of 10-3. Buffalo now leads the series 2-0.
David Peterson started for Syracuse and surrendered four runs on five hits over two innings.
J.T. Riddle put the Mets on the board in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI groundout.
Brett Baty collected his first two Triple-A hits and RBI with a single in the bottom of the ninth. Terrance Gore drove in the other run with a single.
The bullpen struggled as Locke St. John allowed two runs, and Yoan López gave up four. Nate Fisher tossed four shutout innings.
Syracuse will try to snap their two-game skid on Thursday at 6:35 p.m.
