15-year-old charged after striking, kicking officers in Seneca Falls

A 15-year-old was arrested following a domestic disturbance on July 27 in Seneca Falls.

According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 15-year-old for attempted assault and obstructing governmental administration.


Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance on Fall Street. While investigating, the 15-year-old became physically aggressive and struck officers with a closed fist. She proceeded to kick officers who were attempting to detain her. One officer sustainer a minor injury, the juvenile was not injured.

The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket to appear at the Seneca County Probation Department where the matter will be handled.
