A 62-year-old Fairport man was arrested Tuesday after authorities say he inappropriately touched a coworker at a Victor business, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took Arvindbhai Ukabhai Patel into custody around 12:52 p.m. at Crumbl Cookie on Commerce Drive following an investigation into a reported sex offense involving a coworker.
Investigators said the charge stems from an incident in which Patel allegedly subjected another employee to unwanted physical contact while at the workplace.
Patel was transported to the Ontario County Jail and is expected to appear for centralized arraignment processing. He will answer the charge at a later date in Victor Town Court.
