$10 meal that serves eight people
One mom has shared a meal that costs less than $10 but can feed up to eight people– and everything came from the Dollar Tree. The affordable meal is a chicken parmesan pasta recipe. Everything she bought was $1.25 and she bought the following ingredients:
- one box of pasta
- jar of pasta sauce
- one container of parmesan cheese
- two blocks of mozzarella cheese
- three bags of chicken nuggets
Making the meal is quite simple. All you need to do is boil the pasta and after its cooked and drained add the tomato sauce. While the pasta is cooking, cook the chicken nuggets until they are golden brown and then cut into quarters. Next, you’ll need to shred the mozzarella. Then, you’ll layer the pasta, chicken and cheese together in a glass baking dish. To finish it, cover it in tin foil and put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 420 degrees. After that you’ll want to remove the foil and put it back in for another ten minutes.
