A Lyons man was arrested upon investigation into a car that was off the road.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Drake L. Corey, 23, of Lyons for driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation.
Officers drove by a car off the side of Stokes Road in Galen that was off the road. Deputies stopped to see if the driver needed any help. Upon investigation, Corey admitted to driving off the road and displayed signs of intoxication. Corey failed standardized field sobriety tests and was remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
Corey will appear before the Town of Galen Court at a later date.
