Bath Police Department says it won’t enforce state’s new concealed carry law

The Bath Police Department says its taking a stand against the state’s new concealed carry laws.

The village police department made the announcement on Facebook, noting that officers will not arrest people who have concealed carry pistol permits and licensed handguns.

“The police cannot be everywhere,” the post reads. “Your right to protect your family and others is our priority.”
