Police arrested a Lodi man following a single vehicle crash on Sunday morning.
According to a news release, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jack J. Mott, 21, of Lodi for driving while intoxicated.
While on routine patrol, deputies came across a single vehicle crash on Lodi Point Road. Upon investigation, it was discovered Mott had been driving westbound on Lodi Point Road when his vehicle left the roadway multiple times. Mott struck a mailbox and guardrail before coming to a rest in a ditch, causing significant damage to the vehicle. South Seneca Ambulance responded for a check over of Mott, who was showing signs of intoxicated. Mott was subjected to standardized field sobriety tests and failed. Additionally, he was issued tickets for failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely.
Mott is due back int he Town of Lodi Court at a later date.
