Another day, another bear sighting.
As of late, there have been a lot of bear sightings in the Finger Lakes, Western New York, and Southern Tier.
That’s fairly normal, though. Especially for the spring months.
The most-recent sighting happened in Yates County.
A local resident looked outside of her home- seeing a bear and three cubs snacking from a bird feeder.
Reps with the Department of Environmental Conservation recommend keeping bird feeders indoors where bears have been sighted. They also recommend keeping garbage inside garages or sheds.
