Recall: Black lights sold at Spirit Halloween pose burn risks

Spirit Halloween has sold a 48 inch black light that now has a recall due to the potential for burn hazards.

The bulb inside of the fixture can pop, flash, and overheat.

The recall was issued June 9, 2022, with around 12,400 products impacted.

What do I do if my black light has a recall?

The solution is to refund those who purchased the product.

The product with the recall is four feet tall and a black light fixture with the bulb.

The fixture holding the bulb is black and the bulb is 48 inches.

Units with the date code 2021/06 printed on the bottom of the unit are impacted.

Recall: Nautilus treadmills recalled due to fall hazard

Model number LT-B48P and SKU number 01536721 is printed on the packaging.

If you have this product, you should immediately stop using it and contact Spirit Halloween to get a full refund.

The company will want a photo of the date code and you will then receive a refund and instructions on how to destroy the product.

There have been seven reports of the recalled bulbs popping, flashing, or catching on fire and smoking.

One mild burn injury has been reported.
