Nearly a dozen fire departments were dispatched to a large fire in Horseheads over the weekend.
It happened Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. at 54 Level Acres Drive. A home there was completely engulfed in flames, according to first responders.
The fire spread to a neighboring structure, according to reports from first responders. That home wasn’t destroyed, but the initial structure that caught fire was a total loss.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
