The village was awarded $10 million in the fifth round of the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative. Taylor says the village is in the process of coming up with final project recommendations. Taylor says businesses and developers are showing an increased interest in the village, due to the improvements being made and land prices that are still below average for the region.
