The three-seeded Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders squared off with top-seeded Aquinas in the Section V Class D Championship on Wednesday night at East Rochester High School. The Red Raiders came out victorious by a score of 9-8.
It was a very tight game as Palmyra-Macedon took a 6-5 into the break. In the second half, each team netted three goals, but the Red Raiders held on for the victory.
Next up for Palmyra-Macedon will be regionals, which are set for Saturday at Pittsford Sutherland High School.
