Troopers investigate fatal motorcycle accident: Investigators seek public input

State police say they are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened during the early morning hours on Sunday.

Troopers were dispatched to Wolcott Street in Red Creek for the report of an unresponsive motorcyclist lying in a driveway.

Investigation determined that at some point during the overnight hours, Bret Gascoigne, 22, was traveling north on Wolcott Street when he lost control and exited the roadway.

He was thrown from the bike after colliding with a parked vehicle in the driveway at the scene of the crash.

Troopers said Gascoigne was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation remains active and anyone with information that could help are asked to call 585-398-4100.
