Fulkerson Winery invites trail enthusiasts to celebrate National Trails day by competing in the Second Annual Will Run For Wine, Heritage 5k Trail Run on June 4, 2022, at Fulkerson Winery (5576 Route 14, Dundee, NY). The event will use a staggered start, with runners leaving at 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. Each wave will have 50 runners. Runners can choose their desired start time during the registration process.
Runners will compete in designated age categories (<21, 22-35,36-50, 55-64, 65+) with the top three racers in each age category receiving one free bottle of wine (2 free bottles of juice for under 21 category). Prizes will also be awarded for first, second, and third places overall in Female and Male categories. Cost for entry is $45, which includes a free wine tasting after the race (for those over 21).

The course encompasses trails surrounding Fulkerson Winery, running through the vineyard, forest, and fields, all with views of Seneca Lake. All registered runners will receive a men’s or women’s fitted tank top and wine tumbler. Tasting reservations are required; please make them ahead of time, as seating is limited. Proceeds will be directed toward the installation of an 18-hole Disc Golf course on the Fulkerson Winery property, along the trail. COVID precautions will be in place.
