And it is now being recalled due to an issue with the fuel hose.
As stated in an article on Cars.com we saw a similar recall for one of Kia’s models.
Which is the sibling brand to Hyundai.
It is possible that the fuel hose on the Sonata may crack due to heat from the engine compartment.
If these fuel hoses crack they can leak fuel which would increase the risk of a fire.

The company will begin reaching out to owners starting July 5th.
Those who have purchased one of these vehicles can bring it to the dealership for a free repair.
